Hmm....Don't know why so many are upset. If you follow his Dev logs we all pretty much knew
esp 11 wouldn't be out till Jan or Feb at the earliest:p. The Big news is never that big coming from DPK
if you look at his history of these surprises lol! The good news to me is just how big esp 11 is{Almost as big as season2 NICE!}......looking forward
to when it drops!:sneaky:(y)

So, help me out here.
I have a clean season 1 game with no mods. I export the save just fine and when I import to season 2 (with no mods) and try to run it with no mods it crashes when Tommy and Jacob.
I already wen through the renpy folders and copied them somewhere else just to be safe and then proceeded to delete them and even the persistent file and tried from scratch again, I can run season 1 and then when I try season 2, it crashes again.
The only way to run season 2 for me is with scrappy's mod.
What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

[ I assume you mean you have a save from Season1-2 and you import it in Season 3.
Since "Season1 and 2" are implemented as a single Ren'Py game. ]


You are missing DPC's obsession with anti-mod checks.

If you want to play Season 3 (v0.10.1) without Scrappy mod, you can use my little jailbreak available here.

Only happens if you used ScrappyMod once. Scrappy was so smart to set a persistent variable. BaDIK is reading it out and just ends the game. Just erase ScrappyMod completely and delete all your saves and the persistent file. Now you're clean.

There's no need for. I got it covered.
How to fix the crash problem at the Helen Doctor scene:

1. Unren BaDIK
2. Open games\scripts\episode10\update10.rpy
3. Delete line 344 and 345 but make sure there are blank lines instead!
4. Don't forget to delete games\scripts.rpa and games\scripts\update10.rpyc (if exists) before starting the game.

Ren'Py will compile the rpy files in \games\scripts, so it takes a little longer at the first start after the edit.

It's the file \games\scripts\freeroam\episode10\ep10_freeroam_room1.RPY

Same way as with the file mentioned above. Delete the ep10_freeroam_room1.RPYC file and edit the lines 35 and 36.

I searched through the damn whole script and there's nothing more with persistent.mod_wt_enabled. That should be it.
Oh, and you can use just URM and delete the variable.

Regarding the whole animation debate. I don't think they are horrible when they come out or that they shouldn't be part of the game (for example people laughing at Zoey run animation and I think it was okay) - the issue is how long it takes to develop that and it is not done in more efficient way. I recently made many saves replaying game from zero and my fondest moments in the game were the static renders where you "Click to continue" and if your fancy animations are outdone by such simple thing as this then maybe ambitions and perfectionism should be somewhat calmed down.
How would one do the animations in a more efficent way? Not arguing against you, just interested in game development. :)

I wouldn't call the Zoe running and the holloween house intro your standard animation, more like cinematics, looks like DPC likes those. The standard animations are what you have in the sex scenes.

I don't think the amount of content is the most decisive factor for the time one episode needs for development. It probably is heavy dependent on all the strings DPC needs to keep in mind.
There is much in the background, so many small different interactions. It's one giant rats tail that keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Like I said earlier, today was mostly a nothing burguer, but at least it wasn't anything stupid to make the update take even longer and we did got a shit ton of new previews.

Probably just to compensate his Steam Customers since they are only getting an update in 2026.

I updated my with all the new previews, as always open to feedback if you disagree with any scene position.

Today's previews also made me quite confidant in my guesses for the 18 lewd scenes.

Josy/Maya - 3 (one together and one solo each) (The one together is confirmed previews 3 & 23)
Jill - 2 (one confirmed in the resort)
Sage - 2 ( one solo and a menage with Cammie) (one solo confirmed)
Bella -2 (one confirmed in the resort)
Lily - 1
Jade - 1 (one confirmed preview 18)
Sarah - 1 (one confirmed preview 12)
Sally - 1 (very likely, preview 24)
Elena - 1
Zoey - 1
Camila - 1 (maybe, preview 2)
Melanie - 1 (maybe, steam preview)
Madame - 1 (May I be wrong)

For a fleeting second I considered staying up to see this very exciting announcement, but quickly realized it would be a waste of time. Very glad I just went to bed.
